# Common Errors

> Server Error or "You are not a part of an organization"

### Server Error

If you are receiving a server error, please reset your cache and cookies, then reset your URL back to [https://portal.angellist.com.](https://portal.angellist.com)

Our engineers will receive an error report internally. If you continue to have this problem after following the steps above, email us at [portal@angellist.com.](mailto:portal@angellist.com)

### You are not a part of an organization

If you receive this error, please reset your URL back to [https://portal.angellist.com.](https://portal.angellist.com)

If this does not solve your issue, email us at [portal@angellist.com](mailto:portal@angellist.com) so we can diagnose. This error typically stems from accepting an email invite intended for a specific email, but the user is signed into a different account.

### Invite Expired

If you receive this error, please contact the individual who sent you an invitation and request a new one.

Email invitations expire after 75 days and cannot be refreshed.

### You are not the Authorized Signatory

If you are ready to sign a Transaction and receive this note on the dashboard, this means your account role is not set up to sign the Transaction. There are two ways to move forward here:

* **If you ARE the authorized signatory** then you need to email us at [portal@angellist.com](mailto:portal@angellist.com) so we can upgrade your account role.

* **If you are NOT the authorized signatory** then you need to invite in the correct person to complete the signature. You can do this via the *Invite* button at the top left of the Transaction.
