# Supported File Types

> List of supported document types (PDF, DOCX, Excel, etc.) and file size limits.

AngelList Data Rooms support a wide range of file formats so you can easily upload, organize, and share all the materials needed for your fundraise.

### **File Types You Can Upload**

We support all major file formats commonly used in investor communications, including:

* **Documents:** PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX, CSV, TXT
* **Images:** JPG, PNG, GIF
* **Videos (Video Section Only):** MP4

  Only MP4 files can be embedded directly within the Video section of your Data Room.

### **Upload Limits**

To ensure a smooth experience, please note the following upload limits:

* **Per Room Storage Limit:** 50 GB
* **Upload Modal Limit:** Up to 30 files at a time via drag-and-drop or manual file selection
* **Individual File Size Limit:** No hard limit per file, but very large files may affect loading speed

### **Best Practices**

* Keep filenames clear and descriptive (e.g., Fund\_Overview\_Q2\_2025.pdf)
* Use the **Featured Documents** section to highlight your most important files
* For pitch videos or walk-throughs, embed an MP4 in the Video section for a seamless viewer experience
